Ingredients:

·9–10 pitted dates – natural sweetness + high in fiber for gut health

·½ cup hot water + 2 tbsp water – helps soften dates for a smooth texture

·½ cup freshly ground flaxseeds – rich in omega-3s and lignans for hormone balance

·1 tsp maca powder – adaptogenic superfood that supports energy levels and hormone regulation

·½ cup pumpkin seeds – loaded with magnesium and zinc to support reproductive health

·½ tsp ground cinnamon – stabilizes blood sugar levels

·½ tsp ground ginger – reduces inflammation and supports digestion

·¼ tsp ground nutmeg – adds warm, aromatic flavor + anti-inflammatory benefits

·¼ tsp sea salt – balances electrolytes and enhances taste

·½ cup shredded unsweetened coconut flakes – healthy fats + delicious texture

Method:

1.     Soak the dates in ½ cup hot water for 5 minutes. Drain and transfer to a food processor.

2.     Add flaxseeds, pumpkin seeds, maca powder, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, sea salt, and 2 tbsp water. Blend until smooth and sticky, scraping down the sides as needed.

3.     Place shredded coconut in a shallow bowl. Roll mixture into small balls and coat with coconut.

4.     Chill for 15 minutes in the refrigerator to firm up.

5.     Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
